I had a great experience at this venue with a super comfy bed, private safe, air conditioning, and a mini bar, and the location was fantastic with the train station nearby.

Its breakfast was satisfactory, we truly enjoyed the location too.
Strongly recommend this place and would happily return. We had a fine stay in this traditional hotel. We stayed in a generous-sized room, which had a view of street. Btw it included central heating, a safe box and multi-channel TV. Pleasant staff and the location was marvellous and wonderful. The venue was an amazing base for enjoying a fairly nice area.

Being an older hotel the room size was very good, as well as old fashioned. Being close to the centre of Rome was a bonus as I prefer to walk. The room was clean and the beds comfortable.

It was a pleasant stay, the location is good and the 64 bus stop out the front is handy. I've read some of the other comments that to me seem a little harsh...yeah sure it has one antique lift - but it has character!! Yes true that the acoustics are not great between rooms, but this is common in many hotels, if it really bothers you - solution is ear plugs. Its well worth it for the price, I would stay there again.

The location's perfect, very near St. Peter's Square. It's quiet at night and there's this feeling of safety/security.
Breakfast was very simple, coffee waitress too abrupt and unfriendly and no fresh fruits at all.

Hotel Emmaus is a stone's throw away from Vatican City and makes it incredibly easy to visit the surrounding Museums, churches etc. Luigi's family operate this little gem and they are excellent hosts. He recommended us some great tours and provided us with maps and even coupons. Emmaus is also up the street from two of my favorite restaurants, La Vittoria and San Pietrini and just a few doors down from a great Gelateria. Theair conditioned room was very clean, fresh linen daily, awesome breakfast in the mornings. Highly recommended and will use again.
