Nice place with great wi-fi, 24-hour reception, and comfy beds. The friendly staff even helped me with a local delivery recommendation. I can't wait to come back for Christmas!

The location was marvellous and amazing, you can visit a large plaza by walking. The staff were accommodating and incredibly nice and gave us good recommendations. Have stayed here many times and would definitely come back...

Its breakfast was satisfactory, we truly enjoyed the location too.
Strongly recommend this place and would happily return. We had a fine stay in this traditional hotel. We stayed in a generous-sized room, which had a view of street. Btw it included central heating, a safe box and multi-channel TV. Pleasant staff and the location was marvellous and wonderful. The venue was an amazing base for enjoying a fairly nice area.

Being an older hotel the room size was very good, as well as old fashioned. Being close to the centre of Rome was a bonus as I prefer to walk. The room was clean and the beds comfortable.

It was a pleasant stay, the location is good and the 64 bus stop out the front is handy. I've read some of the other comments that to me seem a little harsh...yeah sure it has one antique lift - but it has character!! Yes true that the acoustics are not great between rooms, but this is common in many hotels, if it really bothers you - solution is ear plugs. Its well worth it for the price, I would stay there again.

The location's perfect, very near St. Peter's Square. It's quiet at night and there's this feeling of safety/security.
Breakfast was very simple, coffee waitress too abrupt and unfriendly and no fresh fruits at all.

Hotel Emmaus is a stone's throw away from Vatican City and makes it incredibly easy to visit the surrounding Museums, churches etc. Luigi's family operate this little gem and they are excellent hosts. He recommended us some great tours and provided us with maps and even coupons. Emmaus is also up the street from two of my favorite restaurants, La Vittoria and San Pietrini and just a few doors down from a great Gelateria. Theair conditioned room was very clean, fresh linen daily, awesome breakfast in the mornings. Highly recommended and will use again.

Bathroom step presents a safety risk for older guests, and a simple bright strip could help!!! It's frustrating that certain arrangements, like parking, are inadequate for unloading luggage!!!

The staff was very helpful in booking tours and help with directions. Also they arranged transportation to and from the airport. I would recommend this hotel to others.

Staff was friendly and helpful, room was big with nice view and its design was very nice with exception of bathroom, localization ideal for all of visitors interested in Vatican, good connection with rest of city thanks to bus no 64.
Small and poor equipped bathroom, small and not trusted - old - lift, poor selection on breakfast, no cot for my 1.5 years old son although it was placed in our reservation (they give us tripe room, but most of kids at this age is not used to sleep on normal bed, and in this case quite high).

Focus on the Vatican as our primary destination Emmaus is a perfect location to crash after a hectic day visiting historical sites.
